It's a bold statement but we recognise the significant role that fast food plays within our communities, and believe that challenging norms and perceptions around this will lead to positive cultural change. At FISHBOWL, we want to deliver the food that nature provided with minimal intervention and maximum care in a fun and authentic way. What begins with a beautiful product is complemented by design-driven spaces, curated music, bold personalities and cultural diversity.
MADE FROM SCRATCH
Everything at fishbowl is made from scratch, every day, by us. Our team of chefs carefully break down and prepare nature’s food with minimal intervention and maximum love. The same goes for our dressings, we use a carefully selected range of local and japanese ingredients to produce a delicate range of dressings free from any artificial flavour enhancers, refined sugars or anything funky added! You could say it’s our secret sauce!
TRACEABILITY & TRANSPARENCY
Always open and available. If you’ve got nothing to hide there’s no need hiding.
Good food often has a great story and we pride ourselves on being open about where and how we source our food as well as how we prepare it. It’s why all of our stores have open kitchens, and all of our mixers are front and centre - we love to celebrate the theatre of food!
SUSTAINABILITY
Our planet is capable of producing some amazing things but in order for it to stay that way, we need to ensure that we play our part. Sustainability informs every component of what we do, be it food, design or waste management. We can all contribute to a more sustainable ecosystem around food and fishbowl wants to be at the forefront of this conversation and change for good.

Food provenance, transparency and sustainability are at the heart of what we do.
When we started Fishbowl in 2016 as three uni students, we wanted to create food that we could enjoy everyday. It needed to be fresh, delicious, healthy and ethically sourced. Everything we serve at FISHBOWL today carries this ethos, that's why we make all of our dressings from scratch, centre our menu around vegetables and have open kitchens in every store.
BUILD A CULTURE
We want to empower people to make healthier lifestyle choices by creating a conversation around health and conscious eating.
It’s why we’ve developed our own run club, created a surf team, and have given back to the community through our charitable bowl series. Community engagement is at the core of what we do, and our run clubs — lead by Nike and F45 trainers are a great way to bring locals together in support of local charities and to share a post-workout meal.
